In training and education, using simple instructional videos are an effective way to provide students with information. I recently encountered a situation where a course assignment required additional student instructions to format and submit their work.
The students were required to design a 20-minute PowerPoint presentation with narration, then upload the project in the LMS. However, the file size limitations within the LMS created the need for an alternative method for saving and submitting their work. Using Captivate 2019, I recorded a brief tutorial to demonstrate how to save a PowerPoint presentation as an MP4. By converting the file into a video, the students were able to successfully upload and share their work.
